AI Founder, Advisor and Speaker
Practical artificial intelligence for teaching, learning, and work.
Kathryn "Kat" Wifvat, PhD is the founder and CEO of Nuubi and AI Expert in Residence at Going Global Ventures. A graduate data-science faculty member, she speaks and leads workshops on the practical adoption of AI across universities and organizations.
Building Nuubi
I founded Nuubi to help students get timely, course-specific support while keeping faculty connected to where they get stuck. It brings AI support and human discussion together inside the LMS.
AI in practice
My work as AI Expert in Residence at Going Global Ventures connects research, product building, and conversations with leaders about AI adoption. That perspective shapes how I teach, build Nuubi, and speak about what AI means for education and work.
About
Kat Wifvat, PhD is the founder and CEO of Nuubi, an AI support tool for higher education. Kat's work brings together building an education product, teaching, and advising leaders on responsible AI adoption. She speaks and writes about AI in education, governance, and the future of work, with a focus on strengthening human teaching and student support rather than replacing them.
She earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Arizona State University and bachelor's degrees in Mathematical Statistics and Applied Mathematics at the University of St. Thomas. Her experience as a founder, educator, and advisor keeps her talks grounded in what works in practice.
